Nesbitt’s Senate office open and ready for business

LANSING, Mich. — State Sen. Aric Nesbitt announced on Friday that his Lansing office is open and ready to meet the needs of constituents in the 26th Senate District.

Nesbitt’s Lansing office is located in Room 6100 of the Connie B. Binsfeld Office Building at 201 Townsend St., across from the Capitol. Nesbitt will be hosting an office open house at 10 a.m. on Jan. 9 and constituents are welcome to attend.

“I’m pleased to announce that my office is open and my staff and I are ready to serve residents of the 26th District,” said Nesbitt, R-Lawton. “It is a privilege to represent the hardworking people of Allegan, Kent and Van Buren counties in the state Senate as we work to strengthen our economy, pay down debt, fix our roads and defend our West Michigan values.”

Included in Friday’s announcement was the newly elected senator’s complete staff list.

“I’m proud of the team we’ve put together to work very hard for the district,” Nesbitt said. “We are ready to assist you, listen to your thoughts and ideas on issues facing the state and work to continue Michigan’s comeback.”

Nesbitt’s staff includes:

Chief of Staff: Joe Wicks— Joe has strong ties to West Michigan. He is originally from Laketown Township in Allegan County and is a graduate of Hillsdale College and Holland Christian High School.

As chief of staff, Joe’s responsibilities will encompass all aspects of managing a Senate office. The position places a special focus on serving constituents, organizing and managing staff and promoting the senator’s legislative priorities and committee activities. Additionally, Joe will act as point person for all media inquiries.

Legislative Director: Ryan Studley— Ryan was born and raised in Eaton County and received his bachelor’s degree in political science and is now completing his master’s in public administration from Western Michigan University. Along with Joe, Ryan will manage Nesbitt’s legislative agenda and assist with the committees he serves on.

Constituent Relations and District Director: Josh Przygocki— As a graduate of Hillsdale College and current resident of Paw Paw, Josh has roots in Southwest Michigan. Josh will work directly with constituents to solve problems within state government and serve as Nesbitt’s district director.

Scheduler: Greta Dreyer— Greta graduated from Eastern Michigan University, where she double majored in political science and public relations. Greta is responsible for coordinating Nesbitt’s schedule and will act as a general office manager for the office’s day-to-day business.
